2.1 How is Ebitaa different from Excel or BI tools?
Traditional tools like Excel and Power BI are general-purpose and require manual setup, formulas, and data modeling. Ebitaa is purpose-built for financial reporting and analysis, understanding Trial Balances, P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow, Ratios, and Segment Analysis right out of the box — with no formulas or mapping required. Simply upload your Trial Balance, and Ebitaa automatically validates, maps, and generates fully formatted IFRS-ready reports and dashboards within seconds.

2.2 What makes Ebitaa unique?
Ebitaa’s proprietary RAIS (Reporting AI System) doesn’t just visualize — it interprets your financials, detects mismatches, highlights insights, and identifies trends automatically. Think of it as having an AI financial analyst beside you. It includes pre-built, auto-adjusting reports for P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Multi-Year Analysis, and Ratios. It validates data, detects missing GL codes or cost centers, and helps fix them instantly. Reports can be shared securely via Email or WhatsApp, and Ebitaa can alert users when KPIs or ratios change. 3. Getting Started

3.1 How do I create an account?
Visit www.ebitaa.com, click Sign Up, choose your plan, complete payment, and follow the onboarding wizard.

3.2 What happens after registration?
You’ll add company info (logo, fiscal year, and industry) and upload your first trial balance to start generating reports.

3.3 Can I import my own Trial Balance?
Yes, upload via Excel or CSV — Ebitaa automatically validates and maps your fields.

4. Data Management & Uploads

4.1 What file types are supported?
Excel (.xlsx) and CSV.

4.2 Is there a Trial Balance template?
Yes — downloadable on the Upload screen. Use it to ensure column alignment.

4.3 What if my TB is unbalanced or columns don’t match?
Fix in Excel and re-upload. During validation, Ebitaa shows any mismatched columns or groups.

4.4 What is Alias Mapping?
A feature to rename mismatched groupings during upload — once mapped, Ebitaa remembers them for future uploads.

4.5 Can I upload multiple periods or re-upload data?
Yes, multiple periods (tagged by year or TB type) are supported. You can re-upload corrected files and mark one as Current.

4.6 How can I view upload errors or analysis results?
Errors appear during the Analyze step on the Upload screen.

4.7 Can I edit or delete uploaded Trial Balances?
Yes, you can delete any file — deleted files are permanently removed.

4.8 I see incorrect report values — what should I check?
Ensure the right TB is marked Current, and verify revenue/expense signs follow Ebitaa’s format.

4.9 Is my financial data secure?
Yes — encrypted cloud storage, SSL transmission, and strict role-based access ensure full data protection.

5. Reports & Analysis

5.1 What reports can Ebitaa generate?
Ebitaa supports a wide range including Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, Vertical & Horizontal Analysis (Multi-Year), Ratio Analysis (Single & Multi-Year), P&L by Segment/Department/Employee/Custom Dimensions, Expense Breakdown, and Trend Reports.

5.2 What is RAIS (Reporting AI System)?
Ebitaa’s proprietary AI engine automatically analyzes data, detects anomalies, forecasts trends, and highlights insights — like a digital CFO assistant.

5.3 Can I export or share reports?
Yes — export in PDF or Excel, and share instantly via Email or WhatsApp.

5.4 Are reports real-time and standards-compliant?
Yes — all reports refresh instantly from your latest data and align with IFRS/IAS standards.

5.5 Can Ebitaa handle multiple companies?
Yes — depending on your plan and assigned permissions.

6.1 Can multiple users work under the same account?
Yes, the Admin can invite team members and assign roles.

6.2 What roles are available?
Admin, Manager, and Viewer — each with specific access and permissions.

7.1 What are Threshold Alerts?
Define conditions (e.g., “Net Profit < 10%”) and Ebitaa notifies you automatically when triggered.

7.2 Can I create Recipient Groups?
Yes, group recipients (e.g., Board, Auditors) to send reports or alerts with one click.

7.3 Do I get in-app or email notifications?
Yes — via Notification Center and optional email alerts.

7.4 Can multiple users receive alerts?
Yes — assign alerts to groups or individuals.

Yes, under Advanced Alerts in Settings.

7.6 Does RAIS learn and adapt over time?

8. Account Management

8.1 Who can register?
Any business or individual user.

8.2 Can I change my registered email?
Admin email cannot be changed currently.

8.3 Can I deactivate or delete my account?
Yes, via Settings → Account → Deactivate. Deleted data cannot be restored.

8.4 What if someone accesses my account without permission?

9.1 Does Ebitaa share data with third parties?
No — Ebitaa never shares or sells data.

9.2 Who owns my data?
You do. Ebitaa only processes it to deliver analytics.
